Change someone’s life today
– volunteer with us!
Who are we?
South Port Day Links aims to improve the lives of older people and people with a disability by providing community transport and a range of support programs that enable independent living.
South Port Day Links (SPDL) is a local not-for-profit, volunteer based organisation that has been delivering services to older people, people with a disability and those who care for them who are residents of the City of Port Phillip for over 36 years.
The services provided by SPDL aim to enable residents to remain socially connected, independent and able to continue to live in their homes.
One of the ways we do this is by providing a door to door community transport service – DayLinks.
SPDL Programs
SPDL progras are designed for older people with a disability and the people that care for them. Our programs include Daylinks, GardenMates, WalkMates and PetMates.
HOW SPDL CAN HELP YOU
The programs help our Clients stay connected to the community and live independently in their own homes.
HOW YOU CAN HELP SPDL
Without our Volunteers, our programs can’t continue to help our Clients who rely on them to live independently.
“I have the pleasure of supporting my client, who is a lady of Greek heritage, and introduced me to a new variety of herbs and plants. She is very independent, but at 80+ there are some things she can no longer lift, move or replant. She is so grateful and forever thanking me it makes every visit a joy”.”
